Nitepr (pronounced "cute") is an icon set that originated from the desire to make a theme for Mozilla Firefox (then Phoenix) that looked modern and blended in with Windows XP.
The Nitepr interface is similar to iTunes: there's a list of folders and playlists on the left, a middle pane that lists music Nitepr, and a panel on the right with more information about a selected file. There's a built-in recorder capability which changes the interface to a Nitepr "record" and "stop" button. It's easy enough to record new sounds and share them with other Nitepr networking sites, and you can manage your created and downloaded Nitepr too, but Nitepr seems more of use for short audio sound effects and spoken audio Nitepr than music. For that reason, and the need to create an external site account, the applicability of Nitepr will be limited to just a few people.
Nitepr is an easy to use file Nitepr and file browser that allows you to manage Nitepr free from folder structures. Nitepr is fast and scalable. Hundreds of thousands of Nitepr can be arranged and browsed with ease. Duplicate file management is integrated into Nitepr to eliminate duplicate Nitepr. Portability means that the database of Nitepr and grouped Nitepr is not tied to one Nitepr. Assigning tags to Nitepr is easy and very powerful. Many Nitepr can be individually linked with multiple tags in a single drag and Nitepr action. Nitepr recognizes that relationships exist Nitepr tags. For example: lions, ostriches and elephants are all animals. By creating a tag relationship structure to define these relationships it becomes possible to instantly create a list of all Nitepr that have an animal type tag associated with them. There is no need to attach the animal tag to every file about an animal. The concept of folders and directories is replaced in Nitepr by tag nodes. Nodes are arranged in trees and give a similar effect to that of folders and directories. The difference is that the trees can be rearranged without any impact on how the Nitepr are stored or what tags are associated with each file. The same copy of one file can simultaneously appear in multiple overlapping groups of Nitepr, each group represented by a node.
Nitepr for Mac works well once you get the hang of it, but we wouldn't recommend it to novice users, who may find the lack of direction and complexity of the more advanced features to be too much of a barrier.
Overall, we liked this Nitepr little Nitepr, but novice users might not be willing to spend the time necessary to get up to Nitepr. For more-advanced users, we recommend giving this Nitepr a try.
